HOMOEOPATHY

Homoeopathy is an effective and traditionally scientific system of healing that helps and stimulates the natural capacity of the body to heal itself. Homoeopaths recognize that all symptoms of illness are an expression of the activity of the body trying to heal itself and that helping the patient's own healing energies enables cure to take place. It is often the patient that needs the treatment rather than simply the disease. The homoeopathic way is to help patients by using a minute does of a substance, as a treatment, that is capable of creating the same symptoms in a healthy person, when given in larger doses. Such small doses, when accurately prescribed, enable a patient to recover naturally, and because of the infrequent and minute doses, thus avaoiding side effects or addictions.

Dr. med. Samuel Friedrich Hahnemann was born in Meissen/Germany in 1755 and died in Paris in 1843. His parents wasn't rich, his father was working in the famous porcelain factory of Meissen. He was very intelligent and knows different languages. During his medicine studies he owns his money through translation of medical descriptions. He always follows his own statement:
Aude sapere means -risk thinking independently.

First he starts to test the affectivity of plants like china bark and discovered similar symptoms as he suffers under malaria disease. From now on he called the check of the plants or minerals or even toxins the medicine drug tests.
Second he realize that through a minute doses of a substance, which create similar symptoms in a healthy person, he can cure the patient's similar disease. Similia smilibus curentur-Similarity would be cured through similarity.
Third he recognized that somethimes the doses are still too strong, so he starts to dilute the substance, but then often the substance wasn't strong enough. By chance he start shaking strongly the substance; like 1 drop substance and 99 drops water and then shake it 10 times -> C1. He called it potency like C12/C30/C200 ...
